There is so much confusion in our modern society as to the best way to feed and nourish yourself and your family for optimal health. The government has recommended guidelines we can follow yet as a society we are getting sicker not healthier from following those.

Our physical nature is such that we need foods that are whole, not refined and denatured, to grow, prosper and reproduce. Yet there is an ever increasing trend toward food processing and away from agricultural bounty.

As the consumption of sugar has increased so have all “civilized” diseases. In 1821 the average sugar intake in America was 10 pounds per person per year. Today it is 170 pounds. (over ¼ of the average caloric intake). Another large portion of calories comes from white flour and refined vegetable oils. This means that less than half the diet must provide all of the nutrients to a body that is under constant stress from it’s intake of sugar, white flour and rancid and hydrogenated vegetable oils. Not to mention foods that have been adultered with harmful preservatives, flavorings and colorings. Herein lies the root cause of the vast increase in degenerative diseases today.

When we look at how our diet has changed from the traditional foods that nourished our ancestors to the new products dominating our market place today we have to ask ourselves is it any wonder that there seems to be so much more disease today. With the trend shifting from whole grains, unprocessed and organically grown foods to refined grains and products, foods grown with pesticides and fertilizers and pasteurized dairy products from confined animals raised in crowded pens is it any wonder that as a society we are sicker, fatter and that our kids are so much sicker with food allergies, ADD etc.

In my new "Master the basics of a nourishing foods kitchen" workshop I will be sharing with you some of the things our ancestors knew instinctively that we have lost along the way. With planning and understanding of some basic principles I can show you how you can begin to create nourishing foods to provide optimum nutrition thus health for yourself and your family. Master The Basics of a Nourishing Foods Kitchen

If we want to have optimal health for ourselves and our families we need to re-discover the keys to how our ancestors ate. We need to re-discover the benefits of eating whole foods in their natural state as nature intended.

Come and join me in my nourishing foods kitchen and learn some of the secrets our ancestors knew instinctively that we have lost along the way. You will master the basics of how to prepare your food for optimum digestibility and learn the guidelines of a nourishing foods diet, including how to;

·          Prepare your own cultured dairy products from raw milk products. This practice partially breaks down lactose (milk sugar) and pre-digests casein (milk protein), making the products more digestible.

·          Prepare grains, nuts and seeds for optimal digestion. This practice neutralizes phytic acid and other anti-nutrients which predigests grains so that all their nutrients are readily available.

·          Prepare enzyme-enhanced lacto-fermented vegetables. This practice enhances their digestibility and increases vitamin levels, helpful enzymes and promotes the growth of healthy flora throughout the intestine.

Fri  19th SABAH this is a touching romantic comedy. Much more than a multicultural love story about Sabah a syrian immigrant living in Toronto.

Fri  26th GRIZZLY Timothy Treadwell in 1990 would spend as much time as possible each year in Alaska, camping out near a grizzly bear habitat. Treadwell felt like he was part grizzly, amazing footage shows he interrelated with the Bears and grew in confidence with them. Eventually he and his girlfriend were killed in a grizzly attack.

Fri. 16th BEING IN HEAVEN sit in on a brilliant dinner conversation between Micheal Rowland(Australia’s most successful self development author) and Jason a man hungry for change. Watch the practical powerful steps he takes to free himself from the web of his past.

Fri. 23rd CARBON TAX? My Ass! Free Energy Suppression has been put together in a compilation format, in response to our PM Julia Gillard’s very controversial Carbon Tax fiascal. Everyone is invited for healthy open discussion after seeing this information. Please come with an open mind and without an agenda.
